week in objects: gloria(ous) feasts

there are weeks that feel like one big celebration and feast. from food to food, and from glory to glory. at least that's the impression you get from last week's pictures.

1 some new little plants in pots: two tiny christmas roses and a white amaryllis. ready for christmas!

2 my granddad's eightieth birthday cake that my mom prepared, with eighty (for real!) candles on top for him to blow out. we celebrated in a lovely fireplace room, with a lot of food. we're one heck of a feasting family...

3 some further chalet chic elements (pictures taken at my mom's office). to prove my point about her expertise i mentioned here. i've got the same deer cushion now (on another chair). love it.

4 glorious gloria gaynor in zurich. i was surprised at how amazing her music was (and the dancing and cheering crowd around us, too...).

5 the huge, impressive bouquet at the beaur au lac hotel bar.

6 the obligatory mc donald's scenery

7 the pretty walls at the dada house in zurich, where i attended a workshop last week. quite an inspiring place. we should all be a little more dada...

8 some nightly window-shopping in zurich. sighs of pleasure.

9 my friend charlie's birthday. we had dinner at paneolio, such a lovely restaurant, and amazing, authentic italian food.

see? told you: a glorious, celebratory week (glorious, too, how i manage to deliberately ignore all the existing mess and trouble that every week brings along. but then again: why not concentrate on the positive things?).
